For any of you who has ever met a three year old child – or indeed, had the privilege of having one of your very own – you’ll know they ask a lot of questions. A LOT. And most of them start with “Why…..?”
Kids are inherently curious about the world, how it works and how they fit into it, but as they grow up, they lose that sense of curiosity.
I haven’t. I’m ridiculously curious about why human beings do what we do, why we think what we think and why we can often stay “stuck,” even though it can cause us frustration.
I create blog posts to stimulate, podcasts to inspire and mini programmes that stretch and encourage, which you can download and complete in your own time and space. All of these are designed to shake up your thinking, blow the dust off your life and encourage you to see different perspectives that can practically help you right where you are.
These are grounded in neuroscience and positive psychology, but most of all, from my [delete my] experience. I’m battle scarred and occasionally weary from life and will never, ever profess to be “holier than thou.” What I do profess is to have lived life, experienced some wonderful things and some traumatic things and to have learned many nuggets of wisdom along the way. Life is a great teacher and I’m passionate about using what I’ve learned to help other people in their own stories and lives and enable them to live life at their absolute best.
